Found on forest floor on edge of stream
The 4th photo shows juvenile leaves growing from a small branch near the ground.
All other leaves in this adult tree are trifoliolate. The tree is 6 m high, seen in photo 5 with light trunk on right sloping to the left.
It’s a seedling underneath my cherry tree. Most have been brought in by the birds as I did not plant it there nor do I have a palm tree in my garden
Three mature Phoenix palms 45 metres away, on neighbouring properties, likely source of seedlings.
