The Sod Webworm moth is a common pest found in grass. It causes damage to the grass especially when the grass are at an early age, or freshly cut. Sod Webworms usually dwell around brownish grass. They can be recognized by their grayish-tan, ½- to ¾ inch long with two finger-like horns protruding from the head. Adults are generally active in the evening and have a characteristic zigzag flight pattern. At rest the fold their wings over their abdomen and appear cigar-shaped.
