Liane Leaves notched at tip
Creeping liana, rare.
Parasitic plant connected to subterrean rhizome. Scales or bracts (at base) reddish-brown. Diameter of inflorescence 5 to 8 cm, inside yellow-orange, smelling good after cutting. All the organ is eaten by cattle according the guide.
Perennial herb growing from tuberous rootstock. Whole plant glabrous. Tendrils present. Leaf petiole c. 1-2 cm long. Inflorescences c. 10-15 cm across.
Growing in degraded Kalahari woodland in Kalahari Sands.
