Found on my work truck, wouldn’t have disturbed them otherwise! No mating, just the typical piggyback behavior. Decided on T. douglasi based on range and Douglas fir needle pattern. But maybe T. poppense because they are the sexual species of the two?
large colony of these little dudes, in 3-8 mm burrows. very quick moving
About 5mm in total length
Found in pollinator garden at Oregon State University. On yarrow.
A few others found nearby and all observed were adult females.
