Search for journals, articles and information on Hortophora biapicata mating habits

Followed dozens of Hortophora biapicata throughout their life cycles (egg - death) over the years, and have witnessed many different mating habits but have only just noticed this year that at least two females have been left with what appears to be “plugs” left by the male? I cant find much information except for a couple of articles such as title and link below…
