I am a Conservation Biologist for the WDNR. I have a special interest towards protecting our native freshwater mussels and their surrounding environment. iNaturalist is a great way to connect technology with conservation by increasing our current knowledge of what mussels occur where throughout Wisconsin. With the help of citizen scientists, we can raise awareness on the importance of freshwater mussels and other invertebrates.
