I am a professional nature photographer and naturalist based out of Eugene, Oregon. During summers I am the fire lookout at Carpenter Mountain, Oregon, on the HJ Andrews Forest. Visit me at Carpenter Mtn if u r ever in Oregon.

I have a B.A. in Anthropology from WSU, Pullman, Washington. I was in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Sonar Technician (STG) in Anti-Submarine Warfare and was a wildland firefighter on hotshot and district engine crews. I was also an archaeologist for the BLM, Forest Service and NPS. I was born in Ellensburgh, WA and grew up in rural Montana, Idaho and Alaska.
