My main fields of interest are birds and insects, mostly from Central Europe. I'm not a studied specialist, but I've spent a lot of time in the countryside and have read lots of ID books, so I'd say I have a bit of experience to work with.

Lately I've found a lot of fun in narrowing the ID if it's too general. The feeling when an expert in the next area finalizes an ID that's been dormant for months is quite rewarding.
