My two primary natural history interests are plants and wildlife track and sign. I'm a botanist and applied ecologist for Ecostudies Institute where I focus on plant conservation and restoration in the meadows and grasslands of the Salish Sea region. I am also a lead instructor for the Wildlife Tracking Intensive at Wilderness Awareness School. Since 2018 I've been working with others to document the flora of the San Juan Islands and most of my interest in iNaturalist lies there.
