I am an avid birder and a budding botanist. I have 10+ years of experience working in the habitat restoration field and attended UC Santa Barbara for undergraduate and graduate school. I enjoy being outside as much as possible and have been fortunate to spend a considerable amount time personally and professionally (as a kayak guide) at the Channel Islands (pretty much my favorite place).
