I was a High School Biology teacher for 46 years. I also worked as a seasonal natural resource ranger at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and for the San Diego Wild Animal Park.In college I conduced a study on the relationship between cranial capacity and parental care of offspring in three different species of Primates. I also studied the ecology of Beavers in Quabbin Reservoir in Mass. I am currently the Environmental and Educational director of the friends of Blue Sky Canyon Ecological Preserve. I am also a volunteer at Cabrillo National Monument in the tide pools and on the trails.
I have always loved nature and have a passion for the Biodiversity of the planet earth.
Long time ago Linnaeus said it best "Ours is a world teeming with life".
