Hi!
My name is Bastiaan Drost. I come originally from the Netherlands but I currently live in Switzerland where I work as a PhD student, studying links between aquatic and terrestrial food webs in forests. I am very broadly interested in biodiversity, but my favorite groups include freshwater macroinvertebrates (especially Coleoptera, Heteroptera and Crustaceae), other freshwater life, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, plants and more.
Most of my observations are entered on observation.org (https://observation.org/users/88014/), but I also upload observations of which I struggle with the identification (especially from outside of Europe) and I'm always happy to help with identification!
