I'm a retired public high school teacher. I taught biology in San Jose, California. When my wife retired we moved to Loveland, Colorado where we now are. My strength is birds of North America but I've birded internationally also. I've been birding close to 50 years and I've also led a few birding trips and general natural history trips also. I also know a little about insects and mites (Acarina). That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
