I have absolutely no background in science other than a sincere love of the natural world and a burning desire to learn everything. My current project is to document as much of the flora and fauna on my 6.8 acre tract of bottomland hardwood forest near the Vermilion River in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. I am also training to become a Master Naturalist. Every day brings something new, and I'm here for it.
