I'm a recently retired botanist with expertise in the plant family Gesneriaceae and botanical nomenclature. My work most recently involved collections management and data management in the United States National Herbarium (US). I have a general interest in all Lamiales; I also have some expertise in Begoniaceae. I'm also a plant breeder and occasional garden writer.

My current project is documenting the plants and insects that occur in and near my property in Rehoboth Beach (southern Delaware).
