Full-time Ph.D. student at Texas A&M studying adaptations, diversification, and speciation of mammals, and I specialize in carnivores.

In particular, my research uses felids and felid hybrids to characterize regions of the genome that lead to reproductive isolation and ultimately drives speciation. You can learn more about my research at http://www.eutherialab.org.

If you ever find a mammal (carnivore or not) that you think might be a hybrid, please ping me!

Part-time bird, lepidopteran, wildflower, and herp enthusiast.

Forever learner.

Ask me what a species is. ;)
