I’m simply fascinated by the variety of living things!

I grew up in farm land in Michigan, but also spent considerable time on the water and in the woods. Most days my mother and I would walk the perimeter of our property to see what plants and animals were there, and noted how things changed as the seasons progressed.

Currently I live on five wooded acres, and have taken an interest in the intriguing fungi growing there, given a few exceptionally wet summers.

Snorkeling is a passion, especially in tropical waters.
