Like many folks, my interest in iNaturalist is both personal, as a hiker, and professional, as a manager of conservation land. Most of my time is spent in New England where I live, work, and spend time outdoors. My graduate work in natural resources focused on wetland ecology, with detailed research on vegetation and amphibians. Currently I serve as the Stewardship Coordinator, managing habitat for a research reserve (NBNERR) in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island.
