Northern California based naturalist, passionate about biodiversity especially having lived in far less biodiverse regions. Equally fascinated by flora, fauna and fungi. History of work with endangered shorebirds, currently focused on conservation botany. Committed to raising awareness around imperiled species, especially in regions of imminent resource extraction, and working to demand better land management.
