Just a dragon from Klamath Falls, Oregon, USA who loves zoology, videogames, and storytelling.

I'm a hobbyist zoologist: I don't have any formal qualifications, just a couple of college-level biology and ecology courses under my belt and a love of learning. Animals have been a special interest of mine since I was little. I'm not as good with plants and fungi, but I want to learn.

Of my local wildlife, my favourite birds are redwing blackbirds and California scrub jays, my favourite insects are boxelder bugs (I call 'em ticklebugs) and greenie midges, and I love jumping spiders in general. As for the mammals, I like our rockchucks, and while the mule deer are overpopulated enough to sometimes cause problems, I enjoy seeing them around. I haven't yet seen one, but pikas are also amazingly cool.
