I am a budding etymologist and scientific illustrator focusing mainly on orb weavers, cobweb spiders, and jumping spiders, but am training to identify everything. I also enjoy a lot of Hemiptera.

My name is but a joke among friends, one of whom finally convinced me to get an iNaturalist account only after months of me dragging them around to take photos of bugs, so I am currently backlogged in terms of observations.

I try to take photos of common invasive species where ever I find them to help refine extent of spread.
