YES they are so good! The radiation of them in eastern waterways is fantastic (and sadly highly endangered). Next time I visit Illinois in the warm season I'm bringing a snorkel.
They also have pretty good common names. My favorites are Rock-Pocketbook, Spectaclecase, Sugarspoon, and Pink Heelsplitter (ouch).
