A Fungi's Adventure Through the Pines

A few friends and I took a lovely stroll through the Pine Reserve on Boston College's Campus with the goal of finding a variety of fungi in the soil of the reserve. While adventuring around we saw lots of fungi, some standing tall and others that had possibly been kicked or blown over. This variety of fungi was astonishing and it was such a cool experience getting to capture it with my camera. I noticed that lots of the fungi were grouped based on appearance and many similar looking fungi were very close to each other in position. I had a great time walking around studying fungi and I look forward to my next nature walk!!
