Hi all!
The 7th Anacostia River Bioblitz has already a record number of observations (3064 observations!) since we started the #AnacostiaBioblitz in 2017. The same is true for the number of species = 934 species observed during the weekend! Also record numbers of species observed in the Arachnid department with 36 species observed, and 297 insect species observed!

AWS would like to thank the fisheries crew at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) @sercfisheries for doing another electrofishing survey (Friday) in the Anacostia River for a third bioblitz year in a row!!
