Ran through our yard mid morning, seemed totally calm. This is just before the time that a lot of kids walk to school through our neighborhood which is what concerns me.
Was biting at its back a lot like it was irritated by something, could have had fleas/ticks
I saw the coyote running east across 55th St on Washington Boulevard. I followed the coyote in my vehicle, keeping my distance and recording it. The animal ran into Washington Park once it reached the east end of Washington Boulevard.
Coyote sightings are occurring more frequently. The photos are shared for awareness.
Two coyotes present, both appeared in good condition. One was scratching itself excessively.
This is the 3rd time I've seen a coyote in my neighbor's yard this week (looks same size, but can't tell if it is the same one). I believe he's feeding him, but he claims he's not. I have small children and pets, so I'm a little sketched out about this.
Coyote seen by family members chasing a possible stray cat from our backyard to our front yard at approximately 0856. Found partially eaten rabbit/squirrel in our front yard a few days prior to this morning’s observation. Doesn’t appear to be tagged. Picture is of coyote in neighbor’s yard.
Coyote walked into my yard and remained there for a couple minutes. Not sure if it was trying to mark territory. Dog was barking loudly inside. Was gone before I could get outside to harass it.
A large coyote came into my yard at approximately 10:30pm while one of my dogs was outside. It stood several feet away from the reach of the dog tie out, roughly 30 feet from me, and was unafraid of my larger dog who was barking and reacting at the coys proximity. I started yelling and waving my arms to haze it. It casually trotted into the street about 20 feet farther away and sat down, then laid down, watching me. Photo attached taken in night mode so it isn't great quality.
Two coyotes running through the front yard at 1:56 am CT.
