My interest is in Florida native plants, plant communities, wildlife habitat and ecosystem restoration, rain gardens and clean-water initiatives, tree planting initiatives and carbon sequestration, and birds and pollinators.

In 2020, I founded a large Florida Native habitat project in Melbourne, Florida called Heritage Park at Crane Creek. I am one of the caretakers caring for that land and habitat today (which exists together with a residential community).
