At the beginning of my studies some decades ago, I got a taste for coleoptera early on and initially specialized in Carabidae. Over time, other groups were added (land bugs, dragonflies, grasshoppers, coprophagous beetles, xylobiontic insects, etc.). Through my work as a freelance surveyor, I work on a wide variety of projects with a nature conservation background and learn something new almost every day.
