Tuesday: Flowers and Fungi
Our BilBlitz is off to a great start! As of this morning, we've observed 132 species and we are just getting started. Thank you for all of the excellent arthropod observations yesterday. The winner of the arthropod with more than six legs challenge is monarch2017 with their observation of a tan jumping spider enjoying a nice insect snack.
Please continuing submitting observations of ALL wildlife, but today we will highlight flowers and fungi. Flowers are often admired for their beauty and fragrance, but plants can also be fierce! Today’s BioBlitz challenge: Submit an observation of a plant with a visible defense mechanism.
