This week 278 observers made 1406 observations between Sunday, June 19, 2022 to Saturday, June 25, 2022. Among the top five observers, @mmmmbugs observed 238 examples of life in the Anacostia watershed; @wilpersm contributed 111; @jmgconsult contributed 94; @epic2112 contributed 53 observations; and @dtread1 contributed 42. Rounding out the top 10, @maragay contributed 31; @stephen220 each contributed 30; @kayohareeye contributed 26; @kemit contributed 24; and @esummerbell contributed 22. 142 people contributed one observation, 43 people contributed two observations, and 21 people contributed 3 observations. Insects moved into first place (431 observations), Plants dropped into second place (381 observations), and Birds stayed in third place (77 observations). Ray-finned fishes (Actinopterygii) and Mollusca tied for the fewest observations, with 4 each.
