Today is the 8th day of #30DaysWild! Annual challenge from the UK Wildlife Trusts.

An urban walk today around Hackney, dwelling mostly in Haggerston Park. Lots of insects on plants to be seen and even a rat.

New species I saw today;

• Common Mallow (Malva sylvestris)
• Roesel's Bush-Cricket (Roeseliana roeselii)
• Deraeocoris flavilinea
• Shaggy Parasol (Chlorophyllum brunneum) AKA Brown Parasol
• Creeping Thistle (Cirsium arvense)
• Light Brown Apple Moth (Epiphyas postvittana)
• Brown Rat (Rattus norvegicus)
• Eurasian Drone Fly (Eristalis arbustorum)
