ATTENTION ATTENTION! CONTEST INFO!
Thanking the Bioblitz participants, who are helping to gather valuable information on the presence of organisms in the project area, I would like to take this opportunity to repeat some useful information for the photo contest!
Multiple photos can be uploaded for the same observation, but only the first image of the organism observed will be considered for evaluation. You can change the order of the photos by going to the observation, choosing 'edit observation', and you can change the order in which the photos appear (from the PC there is a 'reorder photos' option, from the app just drag and drop them). As there are several competition categories, all the first photos of the observations will be evaluated for the 4 prizes, but the first photo entered for each observation will be evaluated for aesthetics, it is up to the competitor to choose the most suitable one among the possible ones taken of the same organism.
The form serves as a pro-forma to authorise the university bodies to use the photos (mentioning the author), uploading only a form when registering for the photo contest, indicating as title "all works" and as date of the shot the period of the contest (20-26 May 2024). More detailed information will be requested later in the case of selection among the winners and authors of the works that will be displayed in the photo exhibition.
The "all works" allows you to provide a single form for "all observations" (the observation consists of photo, identification, geotag, day, time, and other data) made by the candidate during this week.
