Looking Forward to a New Year/Field Seaon
Hi All, just a reminder that I'm still here and thinking about the up coming Field Season.
Like I was saying in the last post I will be planning a trip to the Swan Valley June/Julyish
to hunt for Epipactis gigantea, Amerorchis rotundifolia, Platanthera orbiculata and any other
orchids to be found. Stay tuned for more on that trip.
Still thinking about doing BioBlitz in a couple of possible sites I have mind, Lost Horse Creek in Ravalli County and Upper Belmont Creek in Missoula County. None of these are written in stone, hornfinder and myself will be putting it together. If anyone is interested let me know sooner rather then later.
I currently have almost half of the known species of orchids in Montana in my photo collection and will be working on getting as many good photos as possible. The plan with that is to have my own photos to write a field guild to Montana Orchids.
